the location was superb, set amidst serene surroundings, yet very close to the university campus. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely amiable and helpful. We particularly loved the scrumptious breakfast served each morning and the appetizing local food at the restaurant. the hotel also offered great directions to nearby attractions, such as the Marienburg Castle and Fagus Factory.

The lack of an elevator may pose a challenge with mobility issues.

The only complaint I have is that the room we stayed in had very creaky floorboards and everytime you walked anywhere you made a noise. The room and bathroom were both very nice apart from this one thing.

I arrived on Wednesday evening when restaurant and reception are closed. As such could not get a login for the wireless internet.

Great staff, very helpful. Nice hills around that area with plenty of places to walk. Good restaurant and breakfast. Wifi works fine.There is public transportation with three bus stops within 20 meters from the hotel. Went to the Hannover trade show from there without using the car.

Tuesday and Wednesday restaurant is closed.

Had a great stay over Easter and it was very affordable. the breakfast was amazing with a variety of options which really impressed us. the location was perfect for accessing nearby attractions and we even found a nature trail across the street. the staff was friendly and made our stay comfortable. the rooms were clean but a little plain.

The hotel did not have an elevator which made carrying our luggage up the stairs a bit of a hassle. it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, but with limited amenities.

Good parking possibilities. Breakfast buffet was nice as well. Even though situated outside Hildesheim the distance to town center (5-7 minutes with car) was no problem for 1-night stay. Access to autobahn was good as well. Hunters lodge decoration in dining room, nice if you are found of stuffed animals and birds. Nice clean rooms with terry-cloth bed wear.

The hotel was very clean and tidy and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was very good and the restaurant was beautifully decorated.

We loved the very good breakfast, friendly staff, and nice restaurant on the property. The location very close to the uni campus was convenient for us, and we appreciated the helpful directions to nearby attractions like the Marienburg castle and Fagus Factory. Additionally, we were lucky to be there for a local craft beer and food festival on the last weekend in March.

Great price and breakfast, and the location had a lovely nature walk nearby. The best aspect was the friendly personnel who provided information on local events.

Our romantic escape was ruined due to no elevator, and the rooms were too plain with no frills. It caused a lot of inconvenience especially with our luggage, and we were on the top floor.
